JISU believes that no student should have to choose between buying groceries and paying bills.
The Pantry (NEW)
The Pantry is run by JISU as a food bank for JIBC students. It offers a variety of non-perishable food items for students facing short-term food insecurity and hardship. We appreciate the student ambassadors who assist us running this program!

Monday: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Wednesday: 10:30-12:30 & 3:00 to 5:00
Thursday: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Courtesy Requirement:
Only one (1) student is permitted in the Pantry at a time.
If you notice that we are assisting another student when you arrive, please wait in the hallway until you are welcomed in.
We do not provide bags—please bring your own.
NOTE: We appreciate your patience and respect for the student staff who assist you. We have ZERO tolerance for any harassing behavior.
REGISTRATION
Do I need to register to use the Pantry?
Yes, you are required to provide your name and student ID when you first access the Pantry.
What is a stamp card?
A stamp card is a Pantry Access Card. You will receive it during your first visit to the Pantry.
How do I collect a stamp card?
You can pick up one (1) stamp card at the Pantry when it is open.
How many stamp cards can I have?
Each student is given one (1) stamp card per semester.
PANTRY ACCESS
Who can access the Pantry?
All JIBC students are welcome to use the Pantry with their stamp card and student ID.
How often can I access the Pantry?
Each student can access the Pantry up to twelve (12) times per semester.
What if I forget my stamp card and student ID?
Unfortunately, you will be denied access if you cannot show your stamp card and student ID.
What if I lose my stamp card?
You will be asked to visit the JISU office to have your stamp card reissued. The stamp card can only be reissued once (1).

Yes! The JISU Pantry is a 100% free food security service for JISU members.
